ResoRubber - Under Screed Noise Barrier
Recycled ResoRubber soundproofing rolls are available in two variants “top” and “base” and are designed to significantly reduce impact noise on screed floors. Discover more about the ResoRubber system below, download technical data sheets and make product specific enquiries.
ResoRubber Top – Above Screed Soundproofing
Resonate ResoRubber top are a range of thin and robust surface bonded resilient layers. ResoRubber top effectively helps to reduce impact vibrations at source. It is also ideal to be used below floor finishes such as engineered wood, ceramic tiles and luxury vinyl tiles.
Recycled Above Screed, Noise Barrier
Available in 3mm and 4.5mm thickness’ ResoRubber top is manufactured from recycled rubber granules bonded with cold cure PUR.
Installation Options
ResoRubber top is a ‘bonded soft floor covering’, the screed is laid directly on the sub floor and ResoRubber top is then glued to the screed with ResoBond Adhesive. No edge strip required.

ResoRubber Base – Below Screed Soundproofing
Resonate ResoRubber base are a range of thin and robust resilient layers, primarily used in under screed applications to acoustically isolate the screed from the sub-floor and flanking walls.
Recycled Under Screed, Noise Barrier
Available in 3mm and 5mm thickness’ the soundproofing solution is manufactured from recycled rubber granules bonded with cold cure PUR.
Installation Options
ResoRubber base is an under screed solution, laid directly over the sub floor. ResoRubber Edge is laid around the perimeter of each room and either 40mm flowing screed or 65mm sand cement screed laid on top.
ResoRubber Edge is designed to contain the screed and prevent noise escaping around the floor perimeter, reducing the risk of Part E sound test failure. The rolls feature a bonded polythene apron and five perforated slits to suit floor height
