ResoDeck - Acoustic Chipboards

ResoDeck are a range of high performance acoustic chipboards suitable for refurbishment and new build floor applications . There are several variations available to suit specific flooring applications. Use the tab system below to find out about each of the ResoDeck solutions, download data sheets, request samples and make product specific enquiries.

ResoDeck 28 Pro – Acoustic Chip Board

ResoDeck 28 PRO is a high performance acoustic chipboard suitable for use on existing timber separating floors. The composite acoustic overlay board is laid on the timber sub-deck, before the final floor coverings (carpet) are installed.

Essential Soundproofing for Existing Floors

ResoDeck 28 PRO panels are 28mm think and have minimal impact on floor height. The 18mm (22mm option available) P5 chipboard top layer is technically bonded to 10mm ResoFleece, a high performance fibre resilient layer.

The ResoFleece resilient layer provides superior impact sound reduction, making it ideal for residential properties that experience high foot traffic. The tongue and groove edge detail allows for fast and simple installation, perfectly suited for refurbishment applications.

Key Benefits

  • Excellent impact sound reduction for separating floors
  • Easy install tongue and groove
  • Low profile solution, low impact on floor height

Suitable For

  • Refurbishment Timber and Concrete Floors

ResoDeck 28 R

ResoDeck 28R is a high performance acoustic chipboard for existing floors. The boards feature a rubber resilient layer which provides high compressive strength and moisture resistance properties.

Moisture Resistant and Super Strong

At only 28mm thickness ResoDeck 28R boards have minimal impact on floor height.  The 18mm (22mm option available) P5 chipboard top layer is technically bonded to a high compressive strength, moisture resistant rubber acoustic layer, ideal for areas with high foot traffic and exposure to moisture such as residential properties and apartments. ResoDeck 28R panels are also suitable for projects where non-load bearing partitions (walls) are to be installed.

Key Benefits

  • Excellent impact sound reduction for separating floors
  • Easy install tongue and groove
  • Low profile solution, low impact on floor height
  • High compressive strength ideal for floors expecting heaving loads including furniture and white goods
  • Moisture resistant resilient layer is able to cope with exposure to water

Suitable For

  • Refurbishment Timber and Concrete Floors
